Make sure you don’t get yourself into trouble by staying up to date with Japan’s latest drone regulations.
On June 20th 2022, Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation, and Tourism put into effect a new set of drone laws.
This is a summary of the new requirements:
1. All drones weighing over 100g must be registered before flying.
2. All registered drones should clearly display their registration number.
3. All registered drones should be equipped with Remote ID functionality.
